I have always enjoyed making art. Growing up I could always be found with my head in the clouds and drawing in a notebook. Throughout school I took just about every kind of art class that was offered, but it wasn't until I attended community college that I was introduced to clay. It quickly became my medium of choice. I am inspired by nature, human emotions, and just about anything that is decaying or falling apart. Working in 3D adds an extra element to my art. Making a piece that is both aesthetic and structurally sound is a challenge that I try to constantly push myself to achieve. I hope, as with most artists, the viewer not only enjoys to look at a piece, but is also a bit mystified as to how it was created.
