Who we are
Excellent spot for picking up art from local artists. If they don't have a particular size of a certain piece you're looking for just ask the employees. They can reach out to the artist to see if it's attainable. A lot of artist that seek work at the blue genie Christmas market can be found here. So if you were eyeing something at blue genie but didn't pull the trigger on a purchase (my wife and I every year...). I would definitely stop by here to see if they have it. Go and support your local artists!
To me, Austin Art Garage is Austin. They embody the culture, the character, and the talent that this city radiates! I had the pleasure of working with Jake and his very competent staff while recently helping our clients decorate their new office. While our client was deciding on specific pieces, going back and forth with choices, and at one point almost giving up on all that we had selected, Jake and his team were courteous, kind, extremely professional. I am now with a super happy client and more love for Austin Art Garage. Thank you!! I encourage you to check them out and buy more local art!
This place is soooooo cool. Features the best local art Austin has to offer. Lots of fun mixed media work, cool dreamy robots, and features of some of my favorite iconography: analog music players. If it were easier to fly with, I would've picked up "turntable #1" in a heartbeat.
Go drool over local art, buy it if you still have the wall space. Really gorgeous stuff, a must-visit for out-of-towners.
I'm so glad I decided to visit Austin Art Garage on my recent trip to Austin. The art selection is beautifully eclectic and unique, and I was able to find a few small, budget-conscious pieces to take home. Highly recommended!
Very nice art gallery! The pieces were all bold and great conversational pieces. The prices were not over-the-top as well. Good quality artwork without spending an entire check one piece.
My favorite stop while in Austin!! The local artist's pieces on display and for sale were amazing. The building itself was awesome to see. Super fun experience. I'm so glad I was able to stop here and ecstatic with the pieces I took home to remind me of my visit. Keep it weird Austin!!
