Frequently Asked Questions

I live in the Austin area. Can I purchase art on the website and pick it up at the gallery ?

Of course! Select the Store Pick-up option at checkout, and we will notify you when your art is ready to be picked up. The time frames will vary depending on your order. Original work we have in-stock will be ready sooner than custom orders, for example. 

 

How often do you receive new art from your artists ?

We keep our inventory super fresh! We receive several new pieces from our artists every week. 

 

Are there originals in the gallery that are not on the website ?

It is possible, but we do our best to have everything online within 48 hours after it is dropped off at the gallery.

 

How soon will my order ship ?

Most custom canvas prints have a 7 to 10 business day production time. However, if production time exceeds this, we will notify you of any delays. Original paintings are typically shipped within 2 business days after your payment has been received. **PLEASE NOTE, during the weeks of the Austin City Limits Festival orders may have a production time of 14 - 18 business days. We are so grateful for your patience and apologize for the inconvenience!**

 

How long until I receive my new art ?

Most online orders are shipped via UPS Ground. You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your art has shipped.

 

Can I see the art in person before I decide to buy it ?

Yes! You may look at all originals before purchasing but canvas prints require a 7-10 day production time and we can't guarantee to have them in stock.

 

What are your gallery hours ?

Our gallery hours are currently:

Monday: Closed

Tuesday-Friday: 12-6pm

Saturday-Sunday: 12-5pm

Please note: The gallery will be closed on Thursday, November 28th (Thanksgiving) and Friday, November 29th.

 

What is your return policy ?

We have a 7 day return policy. Please call us at 512-351-5934 or email art@artgarage.com if you have any questions about returning items.

 

Are all AAG artworks made by local Austin artists ?

Yup! We firmly stand by our concept to work only with Austin area artists.

 

If I buy more than one piece, can I get a discount ?

Our artists set their own prices and we are not at liberty to offer spontaneous discounts. A bundle deal isn't out of the question, but you will have to arrange it directly with the artist. Additionally, the idea of a bundle deal only works if you are trying to purchase several works from the same artist. If you do arrange a discount with one of our artists, please include art@artgarage.com in the email exchange so we can see proof before honoring the new price. If you arrange a discount outside email, please have the artist email us directly to advise on the new price.
