2016 DNC event with President Obama

During 2016 SXSW, Jake was asked to create an Austin themed art show for a DNC fundraiser featuring President Obama. His art was used as a backdrop for the photo booth and tent walls. He also created 8x original enamel and mixed media collages to be signed by the President, the art sold out and proceeds were donated to DNC.

MJ&M Charity Event

For 3 years Jake donated art to the MJ&M auction to raise money for the organization's children nonprofit beneficiaries.  Each year Jack Ingram, Mack Brown and Matthew Mcconaughey signed Jake's art to boost auction donations.  Click here to see a lists of these awesome children charities and donate.

Roadtrip Nation

In 2015 Jake was interviewed as a leader in the art career category (chosen by Jenny Rogers) on the Roadtrip Nation Docuseries.  The show recruited new grads, who were first in their families to go to college, on a road trip together. They traveled the country to interview leaders within the field of their future career interests.  Among the 19 leaders interviewed included Grammy award-winner John Legend and Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz. These interviews are an amazing career resource for new grads, anyone looking for inspiration, or a career change. Click here to check them out!
