Child Appetite



Blending her Korean and Singaporean heritage, Child Appetite found her passion for art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she majored in painting.

As a brand designer and digital illustrator, my career evolved significantly in 2019 with the creation of 'Child Appetite', a brand that embodies the lasting impact of childlike wonder and habits—a concept deeply ingrained in Korean culture. In my art, I strive to capture the essence of my childhood memories, enriched with the perspectives I've gained as an adult. My paintings are nostalgic narratives that intertwine past experiences with mature reflections. This approach is a testament to my belief in the grounding power of early memories, which holds particular significance as I navigate through different cultural landscapes.
