Cody Freeman (b.1989) is a contemporary artist currently living and working in San Antonio, Texas. After studying graphic design at the San Antonio Art Institute, Cody continued to experiment with painting to pursue and find success through a self taught artistic practice. Cody's work lives in a realm of its own mixing elements of pop art, graffiti and abstraction. The artist incorporates iconic imagery from different eras while blending nostalgia with consumer culture and reflecting on Western mythology to express a personal narrative.
