Eli Halpin | Canvas Prints

Eli Halpin (pronounced “Ellie”), born in 1976, is a painter whose work celebrates connection through living together, working together, and eating together. Her scenes explore friendship, the sacredness of food, family, and the enduring cycle of life and death, all infused with humor, romance, and a reverence for instinct and intuition. Raised in Anchorage and on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula, she grew up surrounded by wild landscapes filled with grizzlies, eagles, moose, whales, glaciers, and vast mountain ranges, experiences that instilled in her a lasting respect for nature’s wisdom.

Now based in Austin, Texas, where cactus, vultures, armadillos, and longhorns shape the terrain, Eli weaves together influences from both northern wilderness and southern spirit. She primarily paints on custom handmade stretched canvases as well as maple or birch wood panels, creating richly textured works that feel both mythic and intimate. Through her vibrant storytelling, she invites viewers to reflect on the beauty of coexistence and the interconnectedness of all living things.
