Patrick Kelleher

Patrick Kelleher is a mixed media artist based in Austin, TX. He was born in the Texas Hill Country and attended school at St. Edwards University. Patrick has been a lifelong artist but also pursued a career path of conservation and has a Masters of Science in Ecological Sustainability. Pulling from his other passion and translating those experiences into a creative process that draws from nature and the wild.

My art style comes from a love of nature and color movement that can be found by taking the time to look closer at what nature is presenting. My Acrylic pieces consist of abstract interpretations of the natural world and landscapes that capture a feeling that reminds me of my insignificance. Often using water and pouring medium to increase the moveable form of paint to be used like watercolors and acrylic pouring to create pleasing patterns that are usually abstract in nature.
